Hi! I’m Bonny, a UX designer with a data-mindset
I help e-commerce shops, organisations and start-ups / scale-ups to optimize their websites and improve the online experience for their customers. I love analyzing the behavior of users to discover new insights & opportunities. I’m driven to base my recommendations and design decisions on real user data or feedback.
I’m specialized in:
- Investigating bottlenecks and spotting new opportunities to increase conversion rates.
- Researching user behavior and gaining insights through screen (user) recordings and Analytics.
- Creating UX / interaction designs and prototypes to improve the user experience.
- Low-key user testing and data monitoring, to see what the actual effects are and to keep optimising for growth.
I’m an advocate for the user but always keep the business goals and KPI’s in mind.
UX + CX
In my design process I take both the on- and offline customer journey into account. Because people don’t magically appear on your website: there was a journey before and (hopefully) after they engaged with or bought your product/service. It’s important to take the context and goals and wishes of your user into account.
In order to create a successful digital experience I look at the bigger picture of your service, brand, digital channels and competitors when optimizing the user journey.
When big CX (Customer Experience) challenges emerge, I team up with Digital Creative Agency Raevels.nl. Together we delve into the value proposition to discover the core USP’s and how they align to the Jobs-To-Be-Done, pains, gains and wishes of the customers.
Mini timeline
- In 2012 I started my career at Info.nl and helped optimizing crowdfunding website Voordekunst.nl.
- After that I moved to The Valley and made the responsive interaction design for the (then) new LOI Kidzz website.
- In 2014 I joined the Telegraaf Media Group and TMG Digital where I was in charge of the UX for several products, amongst them the new Dumpert website.
- Then I joined de Bijenkorf where I was part of the UX team and re-designed the product detailpage (interaction design).
- After that I became a freelancer in 2020 and partnered up with Digital Creative Agency Raevels.nl and worked on countless types of online products over the past years.
- And in 2021 UX Studio.online was born. With the goal of attracting more medium, large and extra large sized UX challenges.
- In 2022 I worked as a Freelance Senior UX Designer for G-Star RAW.
